This article serves as a guide for the independent technical setup of your Superchat account. Here, you’ll find all the articles collected that are necessary for the optimal setup of Superchat. 2. Connect your WhatsApp number to Superchat

 
First, we will create a WhatsApp Business account with your number and link it to Superchat. The following article provides a step-by-step guide on how to connect your number to Superchat.

 

After connecting the number, scan the QR code that is displayed at the end and send yourself a test message.

In the next steps, we’ll explain how to optimally set up your Superchat account.

3. Inboxes

 

You have the option to set a welcome and away message for each individual inbox. Settings such as the WhatsApp profile picture and the company description can also be adjusted directly from Superchat within the respective communication channels.

5. Inbox

 

Aside from the functions you're probably familiar with, such as emojis and file attachments, Superchat offers additional features in the chat area. For example, you can use the note function in the chat to exchange internal messages about individual conversations without notifying the contact. You can also edit your contact's attributes and label conversations under the contact information. Chats can also be directly assigned to your team members and filtered.

6. WhatsApp Templates

 

WhatsApp templates are an essential part of using Superchat. These are required to proactively message your contacts, such as for sending newsletters. Additionally, they must be used if more than 24 hours have passed since the last message from the contact. WhatsApp templates can also be used through integrations, which we will review together in a later step.

Every Superchat account should have a wildcard template! If you're connecting multiple numbers, templates must be submitted separately for each WhatsApp Business Account.

You have successfully completed the basic setup of your Superchat account 🎉.

In addition, there are other features that vary in importance depending on your use case. Feel free to skip functions that are not relevant to you and spend more time on those that are important to you.

8. Campaigns

 

With campaigns, you can send newsletters and message multiple contacts at once, for example, to inform existing customers about a new offer. Additionally, you have the option to schedule your campaigns. However, make sure to obtain opt-in consent from your contacts before proactively messaging them to confirm that they agree to receive such messages.

Automations can significantly ease your workday. Many processes can be automated, which can be relevant in areas such as recruiting, sales, or customer support.

Additionally, it is also possible to connect Superchat with your systems through integrations such as Zapier. For example, you can automatically send an appointment confirmation via WhatsApp to your customers when someone books an appointment through your calendar.
