Reconnecting Your WhatsApp Coexistence Channel

Step-by-step guide to reconnect a WhatsApp Coexistence channel that has lost its connection to Meta.

If your WhatsApp Coexistence channel has a red warning triangle next to it, it means it has lost its connection.

Follow the steps below to reconnect it.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the essentials:

    • Your private Facebook login.

    • Make sure you have Admin access to the correct Meta Business Manager (namely, the Business manager you want to have connected with the WhatsApp account).

    • The phone associated with the WhatsApp Business account.

  2. In Superchat, navigate to Settings and select the inbox where your WhatsApp Coexistence channel is set up. Click the three-dot menu on the right-hand side and select the Reconnect option.

  3. Log into your personal Facebook account

  4. Select your existing business account.

  5. Enter the number from your WhatsApp Business account.

    You will then receive a text message on that phone. On your phone, click on 'Connect' and follow the resulting flow. Once you have reached the end, you will then be asked to scan a code, which is step 6.

  6. Scan the QR code with the phone associated with your WhatsApp Business account.

  7. Select the time zone and confirm that the WhatsApp Business account name is correct.

  8. Click Confirmation.

    You are now finished with the process!
