Personal Facebook account
A personal Facebook account is required to create and manage both a Facebook Page and a Meta Business Account. This account represents an individual person and is used to log in to Facebook and manage business assets.
With a personal Facebook account, you can share posts, photos, and other content with friends. In a business context, it is also used to access, create, and manage Pages, ad accounts, and other Meta business tools.
Facebook Page (Business Page)
A Facebook Page (also called a Business Page) is used by businesses to share updates, information, and upcoming events with customers and other interested users. People can like the Page and interact with its posts by commenting or sharing them.
A Facebook Page is not a personal account. It is always managed by one or more personal Facebook accounts and can also be connected to a Meta Business account for easier management, access control, and integrations.
Meta Business Account
A Meta Business Account allows businesses to centrally manage and analyse their presence across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Business. It lets companies assign roles and permissions to employees and manage access to Meta tools such as Pages, ad accounts, and messaging channels.
The Meta Business Account also identifies which business is behind specific Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, or WhatsApp numbers. This information is used by Meta for business verification, permissions, and compliance purposes.
A Meta Business Account is required to connect and manage Meta APIs, such as the WhatsApp Business API. These APIs allow Superchat to connect to your WhatsApp number and send or receive messages.
