Why use draft messages?

Draft messages help you:

  • Save time by continuing where you left off without retyping.

  • Stay organised when handling multiple chats.

  • Avoid mistakes by drafting before sending.

Who can use draft messages?

  • All users can create and manage their own draft messages.

  • Drafts are user-scoped → only the creator can see their own drafts.

Create Draft Messages

1. Go to the Unified Inbox.

2. Open a conversation in the Unified Inbox.

3. Start typing a message in the chat composer, but do not send it.

4. The text is automatically saved as a draft.

5. Reopen the conversation later — your draft will still be there until you send or delete it.

Manage & Delete Draft Messages

Continue or send a draft

2. Edit the draft

3. Click Send

View all drafts

1. Go to Drafts & Scheduled

2. Drafts in the left-hand menu to see an overview of all your drafts.

3. From this overview, you can:

  • Open the draft directly in the conversation.

  • Edit, send or schedule it.

  • Delete drafts individually, or delete all drafts at once.

FAQ

Are drafts visible to my teammates?

No. Drafts are private and only visible to the user who created them.

Can I have multiple drafts per conversation?

No. Each conversation saves one draft per user.

Do drafts also save attached files?

Yes. If you add files (e.g., images, PDFs, documents) to your draft, they are saved as part of the draft until you send or delete it.

Do drafts also work for notes?

Yes. If you start writing an internal note and don’t send it, it will also be saved as a draft and available when you return.
