Use case: Automatically sync new contacts from Superchat to HubSpot, so both platforms stay up to date without manual data entry.
This is useful when your team is primarily receiving and managing customer conversations in Superchat, but needs those contacts to also exist in HubSpot for your sales or CRM workflows to pick up.
If you want contacts created in HubSpot to automatically appear in Superchat, see Zapier: HubSpot - Contact Synchronisation from HubSpot to Superchat.
Instructions
Create a new Zap in Zapier.
Choose Contact Created in Superchat as the trigger. If you have not done so previously, this is when you will need to connect your Superchat account to Zapier.
Add the next action Find a Contact in HubSpot.
Select Phone Number as first property name (you have the option to select a second search property as well if you need to).
Then add the phone number of the new contact found in Superchat.
In the end of this step, choose Yes (so automation will continue, even if nothing is found in HubSpot).
In the next action, Create a Path.
Create Path rule for Path A (Create Contact):
Choose Custom Rules.
Choose Zap search status was found and then Boolean is false.
Choose Create Contact in HubSpot as last action of this path. In the node, you can then specify which data you want to be added to the contact in HubSpot.
Create a Path rule for Path B:
Choose Custom Rules.
Choose Zap search status was found and then Boolean is true.
Choose Update Contact in Superchat as the last step of this path.
In the section Action, you can then specify with which data you want to update the contact in HubSpot.
Next Step
Now that your contacts are syncing between Superchat and HubSpot, you can start putting that data to work. The following article shows you how to automatically send a WhatsApp template to a contact when they are added to HubSpot:
