In some cases, you may need to delete the phone number associated with your WhatsApp API. Common reasons include:
Re-registering your number due to a previous setup issue
Migrating between API providers
Changing Meta Business ownership
Compliance, legal or GDPR reasons
In order to delete your number currently associated with Superchat, you need to delete it from the WhatsApp Manager in your Meta Business Suite.
Once completed, your number should be available within a few minutes.
Delete your number in WhatsApp Manager in Meta Business manager
Navigate to WhatsApp Manager. If you cannot navigate to WhatsApp Manager via the link, you can access it from the Meta Business Suite by selecting your Business Portfolio and then the Settings cogwheel.
Then select Phone numbers and press the trash icon (🗑️) next to the phone number you wish to delete.
Press Next.
Then simply enter your Password and press Delete.
