Frequently asked questions about Superchat's plan and billing policies.

When can I downgrade/cancel my plan?

Unless you signed up for our service independently, you will have received an email stating that your plan includes a minimum one-year contract. This means you cannot cancel or downgrade your plan until that first year has ended.

You are welcome to inform us of your wish to cancel or downgrade at any time during the first year, but the change will only take effect once the initial 12 months have passed.

As mentioned above, if you signed up for Superchat without any interaction with our sales team, the one-year contract does not apply to you, and you may cancel or downgrade before the 12-month mark.

Once a cancellation or downgrade becomes applicable, the change will take effect after your next billing cycle.

– If you are on a monthly plan, the change will occur the following month.

– If you are on a yearly plan, it will take effect after your next annual renewal.

If you are eligible and would like to downgrade, please contact our support team. If you are eligible and would like to proceed with a cancellation, you can do so by clicking on Settings, Plan & Billing, Your Plan and then the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.

When can I upgrade my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time. However, please see the point above for information on downgrading.

Can I upgrade my plan for one month?

It is not possible to upgrade your plan (including add-ons) for just one month. All add-ons remain part of your plan until you meet the requirements to downgrade (see first point above).

How can I upgrade my plan?

To upgrade your plan, click on Settings, Plan & Billing, Your plan and then Upgrade.

I deactivated my account but want to reactivate it - how can I do this?

When reactivating a cancelled plan, the payment method must first be updated. Once completed, an invoice will be generated.

How can I lengthen my free trial?

As a rule, it is not possible to lengthen a free trial.

How can I add credits?

In Settings, click on Plan & Billing, then Credits, you can add more credits by clicking Upgrade. If you would like to understand more about credit usage and how it works, see our page on Credits here.

How can I reduce my credit budget?

Like all downgrades in Superchat, removing credits is only possible after completion of the one-year contract (unless you signed up to our product independently). Once this has been completed, you can reduce your credit budget by contacting our support team.

How can I increase my WhatsApp Template budget?

In Settings, click on Plan & Billing, then Budget, you can alter your WhatsApp Template budget allowance by clicking the pencil icon.

By what amount can I increase my number of campaign recipients?

You can only increase the number of campaign recipients in increments of 10,000 (e.g. 10,000 or 20,000 or 30,000).

How do I change my payment details?

In Settings, click on Plan & Billing, then Invoices, then select Edit Payment Method. A window will pop up prompting you to enter your new payment details.

How do I update invoice email?

In Settings, click on Plan & Billing, then Invoices, then select Edit Invoice Details and enter in your new Invoice Email Address.
