Note: You can only connect new SMS channels via Twilio.
Instructions
Navigate to Settings → Inboxes → The inbox where you would like to add a channel → SMS via Twilio
In the modal that opens, add the following details:
Internal name: The name of your channel in Superchat - this is only used for internal purposes. It’s best to use something easy to recognise like “Main number”, “Sales number”, “Support line”.
Phone Number: The phone number which you want to connect in E164 (international) format.
Account SID: Your Twilio Account SID. You get this value from your Twilio Account under console.twilio.com
Authentication Token: Your Twilio Authentication Token. You get this value from your Twilio Account under console.twilio.com
Then simply click Connect.
Rates for sending and receiving SMS
Twilio charges you different rates for outbound and inbound messages depending on the number you send from or receive to.

We do not charge any extra fee on top of the Twilio rates.
Payment for SMS charges from Twilio
Any charges for sending and receiving SMS via Twilio you pay directly to Twilio. Please upload credit to your Twilio account in order to be able to text customers.
Also, please make sure to have auto top-ups turned on to avoid running into messaging issues when you run out of credits on Twilio.
