You can connect Typeform with Superchat using Zapier to automatically trigger actions whenever someone submits a form. This allows you to instantly follow up with leads, create contacts, or send WhatsApp messages based on form responses.
To set this up, start by creating a new Zap in Zapier.
Choose Typeform as the trigger app and select the event New Entry.
If you have not previously connected your Typeform account to Zapier, you will need to do so now. It is usually as simple as logging in.
Next, you need to add the form you would like to use in this automation. For the purpose of this example, we will use a simple Typeform to gather basic data. Make sure to fill out the form at least once to give the automation some test data to work with.
In Zapier, we will then find the form in the Configure section of the Typeform trigger node.
In the Test section, we should now be able to run a test and gather some data from the completed Typeform.
Now the trigger is set up, so we can go ahead and add Superchat as the action node. Depending on your use case, you can choose actions such as creating a contact or sending a WhatsApp template message.
If you have not already connected Superchat with Zapier before, you can learn how to do so here.
You will now need to map the fields from Typeform to Superchat. Zapier will show you the available fields based on the test data from your trigger. Effectively what you are doing is telling the automation what each answer in the Typeform corresponds to in terms of contact attributes.
Once everything is mapped correctly, test the action step and then publish your Zap.
This setup can be used in a variety of scenarios. For example, you can automatically follow up on sales demo requests, respond to membership enquiries, manage job applications, or handle newsletter opt-ins. In all cases, the underlying setup remains the same — only the form and the message or action differ.
