Review and Manage Contact Imports

Learn how to review and manage your processed contact imports. Understand which contacts were created, updated, or failed to import.

In the contact import settings, you can:

  • Keep track of all contact imports - see when each import was done and which user performed it.

  • Download CSV files for:

    • Contacts that failed to import (so you can fix the errors and try again).

    • Contacts that were newly created during the import.

    • Contacts that were already in your workspace and updated by the import.

Who can manage contact imports?

Admin

Can create contact imports, view and delete historic imports

Supervisor

Can create contact imports, but not view or delete historic imports

Member

Can create contact imports, but not view or delete historic imports

Create Contact Imports

1. Go to Settings → Contacts → Contact Imports.

2. Find the import you want to remove in the contact imports list.

3. Click the row for that import, then click the … icon.

Delete Contact Imports

  • Delete a contact import to revert accidental imports.

  • Deleting a contact import will also delete all contacts that were created by that import, along with any of their conversations and data (such as conversation notes and attachments).

  • Contacts that existed prior to the import (and were only updated) will remain unaffected.

1. Go to Settings → Contacts → Contact Imports.

2. Find the import you want to remove in the contact imports list.

3. Click the row for that import, then click the … icon.
