Currently, your AI Agent's calls run in a separate area (AI Calls) to the written inbox section. This workaround allows you to send AI Call summaries directly to a chat using a WhatsApp Template and Internal note, meaning you can see it in your general inbox and assign conversations or mark them as done.
⚠️ Note: This workaround can be completed with via Zapier, n8n or Make, however this article only showcases the steps for Zapier.
Pre-requestites for this workaround:
A Zapier, n8n or Make account.
Integrations in your Superchat package (available from the Advanced Plan)
Step-by-step guide
In Superchat, go to Settings > Integrations > Webhooks > Create Webhook.
Then create an AI Call Ended webhook for your AI Agent.
In Zapier, create a new Zap with a webhook trigger. This gives you a URL, which you then paste into Superchat.
Make sure this is set up as a Catch Hook trigger (not Catch Raw Hook), so that individual fields like phone number and summary are automatically recognised as separate, usable values.
Add a Send WhatsApp Template node. Use the AI Call Caller Identifier (the customer's phone number) in the To field, and select whichever template you want to send. This could be a simple "Thanks for your call" template to be sent out after each call.
Then add a "Create Note" node:
Use the AI Call Summary Text as the content.
Pull the Conversation ID from the output of the previous Send WhatsApp Template node, since that's what uniquely identifies the conversation.
Result
Once a call ends via the AI Agent, the whole flow runs automatically: the summary lands as an internal note directly in the contact's matching chat conversation, and your team can see at a glance that the call has already been handled.
