How to deactivate your Voice AI Agent

Learn how to fully deactivate your Voice AI Agent in Superchat and free up your active agent limit.

If you want to stop your AI Agent from answering calls and free up your active agent limit, you need to delete the phone number directly in Superchat — not just disable call forwarding on your phone or phone system.

Why disabling call forwarding isn't enough

Turning off call forwarding on your SIM card or phone system means your AI Agent will no longer receive calls. However, Superchat still counts the number as an active agent against your plan limit. To fully deactivate it, the number must be removed in Superchat.

How to deactivate your Voice AI Agent

  1. Open your AI Agent in Superchat.

  2. Go to the Go live section and select Phone.

  3. Select the three dots next to the phone number you want to deactivate and then press Delete.

Once the number is deleted, the agent will no longer be counted as active.
