What are contact views?
Contact views are saved contact filters in the Contact Hub.
Use them if you regularly apply the same filters - instead of recreating them every time, you can open your saved view with one click.
This feature is available from the Professional Plan onward.
Why use contact views?
Contact views help you work faster and keep your Contact Hub organised:
Save time by avoiding repetitive filtering.
Quickly access the exact segment of contacts you work with most.
Share views with your team by making them public.
Track progress across customer stages with saved views.
Example: Pipeline Stages
Add a contact attribute for stages (e.g. “New Lead”, “Qualified”, “Customer”).
Create a custom view for each stage.
As the contact attribute is updated, the contact automatically moves from one view to another.
Pin the views to easily switch between them and see how many contacts are in each stage.
Who can create and update contact views?
Role | Permission |
Admin | Can view all contact views |
Supervisor | Can view all contact views |
Member | Can view all contact views |
Please note: Only the creator of a contact list can update the or delete the contact list.
Create a contact view
You can create a new view in two ways:
From the filter menu in the contact hub
1. Navigate to the Contact Hub and click on Filter.
2. Apply the filters you want (e.g. contact list, attribute values).
3. Click Save filter.
From the tab section
1. In the Contact Hub, click Manage.
2. Click + New contact filter.
3. Give your view a name.
4. Define the filter rules.
5. Choose whether the view should be public (available for others) or private (only for you).
6. Click Save.
Manage views
1. Open the Contact Hub and click Manage (next to the view tabs).
2. In the saved contact filters modal you can:
Pin / Unpin a view →
A filled pin means the view is already pinned.
An empty pin means it isn’t pinned yet. Click it to pin the view.
Edit a view → click the edit (pencil) icon to update it.
If the edit icon is missing, it means the view was created by someone else and is public. You cannot edit it. In that case, duplicate the view and create your own version.
Delete a view → open the menu and choose Delete.
If the delete action is missing, it means the view was created by someone else and is public. You cannot delete it.
Search for a view using the search bar.
Create new → click New contact filter to save a new view from your current filters.
Notes
Any view you create (private or public) is automatically pinned for you.
Public views don’t auto-appear for teammates. They can find them under Manage and pin them if they want quick access.
If you don’t need a view for a while, unpin it; if you never need it again, delete it.
