Introduction

Superchat offers the ability to manage multiple Superchat accounts with the same login. This is especially useful if you manage multiple businesses where data must remain separate.

How does it work?

Simply add the desired email address to multiple Superchat accounts as part of your team.

When you log in with this email address and are not yet part of a Superchat account, you will see the following overview:

If you are already logged into a Superchat account, you can also find the invitation by hovering over your profile picture in the top right corner with your mouse.

In this overview, if you are part of multiple Superchat accounts, you can switch between them. Additionally, you can see at a glance which account has new notifications.

Further information on Multiple Workspaces

  • Default Workspace on Login: Users are automatically redirected to their last active workspace when logging into the Superchat web app.

  • Role and Notification Settings: Roles and notification settings are specific to each workspace and must be configured individually within each workspace.

  • Creating Additional Workspaces: It is currently not possible to create additional workspaces with the same email address. If you would like to set up another workspace, please contact your account representative or our support team.

  • Data Separation: Contacts, WhatsApp templates, channels, review profiles, and API keys are not shared between workspaces. Each workspace manages its own set of these resources.

User Management Scenarios

  • Last Admin: If you are the only administrator in the account, you cannot leave the workspace. However, you can either promote another team member to an administrator or delete the workspace.

  • Team Member with Two-Factor Authentication Removed: In this case, the associated two-factor authentication will also be removed if it was the last account with active 2FA that the user was part of.

  • Changing Password When Not Part of an Account: This is possible by logging out and clicking on "Forgot Password."

  • Changing Email When Not Part of an Account: This is not supported. In this case, you can delete your access and create a new account.
