Your WhatsApp newsletter wasn’t sent to all the contacts you selected? Here are some possible reasons why:
Contact not available on WhatsApp
Behind this error code, there are several possible reasons:
The number you're trying to message is not available on WhatsApp.
The contact has not accepted WhatsApp’s terms of service.
The contact is using a very outdated version of WhatsApp.
Solution: Contact the person and ask them to check whether the latest version of WhatsApp is installed and if the terms of service have been accepted (in WhatsApp settings → Help).
Variable not filled in
Problem: A WhatsApp template that includes a placeholder (such as the "Last Name" field) cannot be sent if the contact does not have a last name saved.
Solution: Make sure that all required variables for the WhatsApp template are filled in for the recipients.
Media Upload Error
Problem: The WhatsApp template includes a media file that could not be uploaded. Video and audio files are sometimes converted separately, and WhatsApp only accepts a specific final format for sending.
Solution: In this article, we explain how to format your video file: Optimizing MP4 files.
Account has been restricted
Problem: Meta has restricted your WhatsApp account, and you can no longer send WhatsApp templates.
Solution: Please contact our support team (click the question mark in the top right corner of Superchat → Contact Support).
